Week 38 Stats (Baby 2.0)

How Far Along: 38 weeks.
First pregnancy’s post from within this week!

Baby size and random info: (thanks to Alpha Mom)

Your Baby:

  • Is officially a little chunkin, at well over six pounds and 19 1/2 inches long.
  • Is also officially considered “full term.” In other words, he or she is STRAIGHT UP FREELOADING from here on out.
  • Is practicing making fists and fetal breathing in anticipation of life outside the womb.

Symptoms: Trouble sleeping. A bit of swelling in my ankles. Indigestion isn’t bad. Pressure in lower belly. Braxton Hicks contractions more often. Hip pain.

How I’m feeling: Feeling okay! Excited for baby. Getting things ready around the house.

Week’s highlights: Sam was home on vacation all week. Colored my hair. Enjoyed the rain and some fireworks for New Years!

Boy or Girl? Girl

Cravings: Greek yogurt, sandwiches, banana peanut butter smoothies.

Worries/Concerns: Staying hydrated. I can’t get enough water! Just hoping the surgery goes well and healing is good.

Goals and to what I look forward: Having baby home!
